Pilita married a businessman named Gonzalo Blanco in 1963. They have 2 children, daughter Lourdes Jacqueline and son Ramon Christopher who both entered the entertainment industry as well. Her husband passed away in 1981. Pilita was one of the judges of the singing competition Philippine Idol alongside Francis Magalona and Ryan Cayabyab. She also became a judge for Asian Idol.
